The National Law Enforcement Museum was opening when wide-spread police brutality had the nation facing civil unrest. We wanted to create an approachable campaign that didn’t paint police officers as heroes and deny the facts — but instead invited people to see behind the scenes of law enforcement. And so, Ride Along With Us was born. A fun fact: I had to go on a beat with cops for research and the most exciting thing we did that day was review parking lot footage of a hit-and-run behind a DC 7-11. Buuuut I guess that’s a good day?
