From the Stoop
to the Yard
Launching a City Connect uniform is no easy feat, especially the second time around. How do we really connect to Baltimore without forcing it? 🤔 How do we make an entire city want to be a part of it? How do we make even the most die-hard Red Sox fans say, “Holy #*$# that’s cool.” And from there, the Stoop to the Yard was born.
This uniform is an homage to the Ballpark that Forever Changed Baseball. Instead of plopping a concrete arena smack in the middle of Baltimore, Camden Yards was thoughtfully designed to feel like it belonged —pulling inspo from the stoops, brick rowhomes, and soul that surround it.
We wanted to capture all of this in our launch video, using all real people, places, and textures in our city. We even tapped a Camden Yards legend, Fancy Clancy for VO. A surprise Easter egg for fans. IYKYK!
